USCIS Reminds 1-90 Applicants That They Can Use E-Filing
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is reminding interested parties that they may securely e-file the I-90, Application to Replace a Permanent Resident Card, also known as the Green Card. Individuals interested in e-filing I-90 can do so online at www.uscis.gov. A link for this e-filing option is available under the HOT TOPICS heading.
E-filing is a free service that allows for users to electronically pay application fees using a major credit card or checking/savings account. In addition e-filing provides users with an immediate confirmation notice.
Users do not need to provide paper photographs nor do they need to self-schedule an appointment at an Application Support Center to schedule a biometric capture. USCIS will instead mail a USCIS-scheduled appointment for capturing biometrics and photographs at a local Application Support Center. Do make sure to bring all required initial evidence and supporting documentation at the time of your appointment.
